As used on early Bally and Stern solid-state pinballs (1977-1985). Smaller of the two types of SCRs used on the lamp driver board. Switches individual lamp circuits to ground to activate lamps. Failed SCRs are the most common cause of individual feature lamps not working on Bally and Stern games.
